Welcome

to Serene Canyon Doodles! â€‹

We are located in Eagle Mountain, Utah near the Lake Mountains of Cedar Valley. Since 2019, we have been committed to breeding top quality Golden doodle puppies, specializing in Mini and Micro sizes.

Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home, on a comprehensive curriculum designed to nurture calm, confident companions who are well-socialized. By the time they are ready for their new homes, they are sleeping through the night, familiar with basic obedience commands, and 95% potty trained - ensuring that your new family member will easily transition from our home to yours.

We carefully select ideal breeding pairs that have extensive health testing to ensure that we have done all we can to give your puppy a long and happy life. We are confident in our breeding choices - so much so that your puppy comes with our Lifetime Health Guarantee.

In addition to fantastic health, we breed for ideal temperaments. Our Mini Goldendoodle and Micro Goldendoodle puppies are the perfect fit for most homes. Several of our past puppies have gone on to become dedicated working service and therapy dogs, making a positive impact in the lives of their families.

I love chatting about puppies! Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have; I'm more than happy to help.

The Serene Canyon Story

It all began with my allergies. I developed animal allergies shortly after high school graduation. I would have to take a Benadryl before I went over to visit friends with pets. I didn't think I would ever be able to enjoy the companionship of a dog.

Shortly after we got married, my husband and I moved in with his parents to save up money to purchase a home. They had a Golden Retriever, Ace, who was an outside dog. I became pregnant, and during pregnancy developed complications that put me on bed rest at 4 months along. I was home alone most of the day, save for Ace. When the weather was warm, I was able to lounge on the porch and Ace kept me company. To my surprise, I didn't experience any allergy symptoms. We became fast friends. While purchasing our first home was a great joy, I was sad to have to say goodbye to my buddy Ace when we moved out.

I missed having Ace around, but my husband was adamant that we not have a dog. He wanted a Golden Retriever and he wanted it to be an outside dog because he did not want to deal with the shedding. I knew I didn't want an outdoor dog, and I didn't know if I would experience allergies with another. I longed for a dog for years. When I found out about Goldendoodles, I knew our life would change - little did I know just how much!!

Our second son was 3 years old. He was non-verbal. He could say simple words, but most often chose to scream about everything. Not scream words, just pure scream. All the time. My husband moved out of state to pursue a job opportunity and I was home alone again. I decided that we were getting a Goldendoodle. I had heard they had the temperament of a Golden Retriever, which we loved and also that they were allergy friendly and non-shedding. I began my search and when I saw an ad for Bella, I just knew she was ours. I went to go get her that day.

Bella became a piece of our family we didn't know was missing. She and my 3 year old bonded quickly and within a few months, his personality changed. He softened. He started speaking actual words and screaming much less. He started showing positive affection toward Bella and the family. He was happier and brighter. I came to know first hand about the miracle a dog can be and the blessings they are.

My sister is a trainer. She met Bella when she was just around 6 months old. After just a few minutes of playing with her (she was conducting a temperament test, but I didn't know that at the time) she said "Jess, your Bella is magical. You should seriously breed her."

I started Serene Canyon Doodles with the intent to bring blessings into the lives of others. I have spent years researching and learning about health testing, genetic testing, breeding practices, canine anatomy and reproductive systems, coat and color genetics, whelping practices and newborn puppy care as well as puppy curriculum to be able to produce happy, healthy little blessings we call puppies. Seeing the joy, love, and healing that our puppies bring into the lives of others is wonderful. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to be part of it.

Bella's legacy of helping others lives on through her generations of puppies. Several of our past puppies are currently working service and therapy dogs. Her grandaughter, Saige, is my personal service dog. She alerts me when I am having thyroid issues. One of her grandsons, Bronny, alerts his father's caregivers when he is having a cardiac episode and has saved his father's life multiple times. Knowing what a positive impact Serene Canyon Doodles puppies have in the lives of their families gives me so much pride and is my desire to continue bringing wonderful puppies into the world.
